Powder says “Bozeman is the perfect mix of ski town and skitropolis.”
Not a resort town, yet not a big city, Bozeman offers the ideal mix of fresh powder and year-round culture. The town not only lures in the avid skier for winter vacations, but provides all the reason to stay and call it home.
The closest ski resort to town is Bridger Bowl. Endless powder stashes, steep off-piste slopes, short lift lines, and inexpensive lift tickets make this an easily accessible and awesome mountain.
Just a short hour drive from Bozeman are the two adjoining resorts of Big Sky and Moonlight Basin, where skiers and boarders will find that big mountain feel.
In addition to ski resorts, the locals enjoy backcountry skiing in the surrounding mountains, cross-country skiing along groomed tracks or in Yellowstone National Park, and snowmobiling. Culture and entertainment are never ending and downtown Bozeman is always bustling.
